About Us

About CHC Iowa

Iowa Community Health Charities Iowa represents a group of 20 charitable non-profit health organizations and works to raise charitable income through the inclusion in private and public sector payroll investment (workplace giving) campaigns for its member health charities. It is Iowa’s largest workplace giving organization devoted exclusively to health concerns. Employee contributions are used for critical scientific research at Iowa’s public and private universities, patient care, public and professional education and support services.

By partnering with local employers, Community Health Charities Iowa connects employees to health and wellness information, volunteer opportunities and the ability to direct donations to the local health charities of their choice. We currently provide access to more than 19 leading charities, encompassing almost every well-known disease or disability and many lesser-known ones.

The mission of Community Health Charities Iowa to develop financial resources for and increase awareness of our member charities through workplace payroll deduction campaigns.

Our Vision
Community Health Charities of Iowa will unite its member charities in becoming the premier choice in health-related giving in workplace fund raising (payroll deduction) campaigns in Iowa.

Community Health Charities Iowa currently supports 19 local health charities, all of which are doing important work to improve the health and quality of life of those living in Iowa .
